VASAVI EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY ("Vasavi" or "Oldage Home"), Kanigiri Town, Kanigiri Mandal, Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh is a Non-Profitable, Grass roof level service oriented Voluntary Organisation established in the year 1991 with a group of committee members who have social activities to promote and implement development functions in all aspects among the weaker sections of the villagers. This society was registered under the societies registration Act XXI of 1860 with Registration No.64/91 and under foreign contribution Regulation Act in the year 2000. This society aims at working for the betterment of rural poor in all their means of livelihood. Vasavi has started its Old Age Home Acivities after seeing the suffering of the down tradden helpless and needy people by Sri. A.S. Ranganayakulu ((Founder President) and SMT. Lakshmi Kumari in 1991 and started its acivities with the sponership of Trustess with 10 Bead capacity. SMT. Lakshmi Kumari (Founder Trustee) is presently actively overseen the acivities of Old Age Home.
